What is The Embrace Ambition Summit?
The Embrace Ambition Summit: Confronting Stereotypes and Creating New Norms is a one-day event focused on overcoming the negative attitudes about ambition in women and addressing other harmful stereotypes that impact gender, race and sexuality.
How can I attend The Embrace Ambition Summit?
Applications to attend the Summit are now closed. Please sign up for a virtual access pass to watch the Summit Livestream on April 24, 2018.
Is there an age limit?
You must by 18 years or older on or before March 1, 2018 to apply to attend.
When will I find out if I have been selected to attend to attend the Summit?
You will be notified by email the week of April 2, 2018.
What if I am selected to attend the Summit but can no longer attend? Can a friend or family member attend in my place?
Applicant selections are non-transferable. If you cannot attend in person, please let us know and sign up for a virtual access pass to watch the Summit Livestream on April 24, 2018.
Is there a fee to attend the Summit?
The Summit is free of charge to attendees. Please note that all travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee.
Will tickets to the Summit be distributed in advance?
Tickets will not be distributed in advance. Please bring a valid form of identification to the event on April 24, 2018. After checking in, you will receive a non-transferable ticket to gain entry into Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.

What is the schedule for the day?
The Summit will consist of six sessions covering an array of topics and feature presentations, two-to-three-person conversations, storytelling and live performances. Speakers will include well-known individuals from business, sports, Hollywood, comedy, academia and politics. The Summit will conclude with takeaways for addressing and overcoming stereotypes. During session breaks, there will be a marketplace featuring women entrepreneurs and interactive stations.
Will I get to choose my own sessions?
This is a single track program that takes place on one main stage. There will be no separate breakout sessions.
Will food be provided?
Yes! We will provide a light breakfast and boxed lunch. No food or drink will be permitted in the theater. All guests are invited to attend a cocktail hour after the program. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.
What should I wear?
Business casual or clothes that make you feel great! Coat check will be provided.
How do I get to the Summit?
You are responsible for your own transportation to and from Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. To get to Lincoln Center, you can take the 1 train to 66th Street. You can also take the A, B, C, or D trains to 59th Street–Columbus Circle. By bus, the M5, M7, M10, M11, M66, and M104 buses all stop within one block of Lincoln Center.
