Company description…

Global Gateway Logistics is a technology-based freight forwarding firm reinventing the global shipping process. We aim to educate, create visibility, improve efficiency and build customer-focused logistics solutions.

I started my company because…

In 2017, I came to the realization that the logistics industry needed to change. After years of fighting against the current, I decided to take a risk and start a company to create that change myself. Current supply chain and freight solutions lack seamless end-to-end shipment solutions that create true visibility for both domestic and international shipments. Businesses are faced with the daunting task of traversing countless provider interfaces and struggle daily to track their shipment, obtain documentation and more. Money, time and shipments are getting lost in this constant cycle of aggregated inefficiency.

The impact I want my company to have on the world…

We want to simplify the process of importing and exporting freight for companies across all industries and regions so they gain the confidence and strategy to compete on the global stage and grow their business internationally. We also believe in creating a path for women in logistics. In an industry that is male-dominated, with severely dated processes and technology, we believe that women have the advantage to disrupt the norm. We want to create a gateway to success for those that we employ.

Top 3 goals for my business are…

  1. Raise capital to finish our software.
  2. Scale the company.
  3. Impact the lives of those around us.

Women entrepreneurs are…

Resilient, magnificent creatures of humanity. We are resourceful and evolving. We are problem solvers, path builders and caretakers.

I #EmbraceAmbition because…

The proportion of women in executive roles in supply chain and logistics is just 14%…
