Company description…

Sh*t That I Knit is an accessories brand committed to building a community of loyal customers through a shared love for high-quality products, sustainable styles and light-hearted humor.

I started my company because…

It almost felt impossible not to. I was so consumed by my “side hustle” that I was updating my website at work and knitting on sales calls. Plus, whenever I said “Sh*t That I Knit” to someone, they would smile and laugh—and I love making people laugh. It just felt right.

The impact I want my company to have on the world…

I want to continue finding ways to support our supply chain. We employ 170 women in Lima, Peru to make all of our products. This work brings them income that they can earn from home while taking care of their children. I aspire to not only employ more women, but to also inspire other businesses to create a socially responsible supply chain.

Top 3 goals for my business are…

  1. Continue to create a community of people who are connected by our products and story.
  2. Scale our business so that we can bring our accessories to more people and employ more women in need of work.
  3. Make the world a better place—even if it’s just by making someone laugh a little more.

Women entrepreneurs are…

Multitaskers! We know how to get sh*t done.

I #EmbraceAmbition because…

I’d rather fail than not try at all.
