Home decor made with colorful patterns.

Company Description…

Bunglo is a home decor company specializing in colorful patterns to enlighten homes.

I started my business because…

I couldn’t find quality pillows that were a mix between global chic, zen and mod. With a vision in mind, I turned my patterns into fabrics and learned how to sew by watching YouTube videos. I sent my handmade samples to Anthropologie, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and West Elm. A few months later, my Austin home turned into a mini factory upon receiving my first purchase orders! Bunglo grew organically from my love of creating inspiring environments.

What makes my company unique…

Bunglo is eclectic, bright and easy to mix and match, allowing our customers to create their own unique story. Bunglo employs local seamstresses that work from their homes and is focused on sustainable and fair trade manufacturing whenever possible!

Mantra I live by…

Live life as an adventure and inspire as many people as possible along the way!

You should vote for me because…

This is my lifelong dream! In kindergarten, I would sell my coloring book pages for a quarter, sold handmade hemp jewelry at craft shows in third grade and started my first photography business at 19. I’ve always had a business mind and a passion for creating! Bunglo has given me the opportunity to use my skills in graphic design, photography, painting and business on a daily basis. I have a globally centered heart with a mission of making people feel great in their homes.

Top 3 goals for my business are…

  1. Launch organic bedding and baby bunglo by 2018.
  2. Partner with new fair trade groups and empower women to follow their dreams.
  3. Open a brick and mortar store by 2022.

Women entrepreneurs are…

Paving a path for a brighter future!

Being a Tory Burch Foundation Fellow would allow me to…

Learn from the most empowering woman in the world who can help mentor me in scaling bunglo to the next level.
