Tory Burch

Board of Directors

Tory is CEO and designer of luxury lifestyle brand Tory Burch. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in art history and then moved to New York to pursue a career in fashion.  After 15 years of working for influential American designers, Tory noticed a void in the market for a collection with a designer aesthetic at a more attainable price point. In 2004 she launched Tory Burch, a brand rooted in classic American sportswear with over 10 categories, including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories. Tory Burch is available at 73 boutiques across the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Asia, on www.toryburch.com and at over 1,000 select department and specialty stores worldwide.

Tory Burch has received recognition from the fashion industry, including the 2008 CFDA for Accessory Designer of the Year and Glamour’s 2011 Women of the Year award. An avid philanthropist, Tory is involved with several charitable organizations. In addition to TBF, Tory holds positions on the board of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Startup America Partnership.


Robert Isen

Board of Directors

Robert is the Chief Legal Officer and President of Corporate Development at Tory Burch LLC. Robert began his career as a corporate attorney in Washington and went on to work for a Philadelphia-based firm. After practicing law, Robert pursued various entrepreneurial ventures and held key operating, investor and advisory roles in various companies.

Robert holds a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University and graduated with a J.D. from Boston University Law School.  Robert is a member of YPO/WPO and enjoys playing squash, running and collecting American folk art and photographs in his spare time. He resides in Philadelphia and New York with his wife, Patty, and has two sons, Thomas and Charlie.

 


Tracey Kozmetsky

Board of Directors

Tracey began her career in advertising and fashion at Women’s Wear Daily and Cosmair/L'Oréal Professionnel, and in 1999 she started her own public relations firm, Engelking Kozmetsky Communications LLC. Tracey has served as a volunteer and leader of many community-based organizations in Dallas, including as a Trustee of the Children's Medical Center Foundation, Chair of the RGK Foundation’s Adjunct Board and the Board of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. She holds a B.A. from Texas Christian University and lives in Dallas with her husband and three children.


James Robinson

Board of Directors

Jamie is the Managing Director of Alliance Marketing Partners, a sports marketing firm. Launching his career as a certified NFL agent, Jamie has negotiated sports and entertainment merchandising, licensing and sponsorship agreements totaling in excess of $150 million and created marketing campaigns on behalf of a number of the nation’s leading marketers and brands including Hallmark Cards, GAP, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Rawlings Sporting Goods and Dunkin' Donuts.

Jamie is a board member of the Police Athletic League, the Marks Colorectal Surgical Foundation and Ashley’s Angels and sits on the steering committee of the National Sports Marketing Network. In addition, he is a founding board member of TBF and the StreetSafe Driving Academy. Jamie is a graduate of Georgetown University.

 

 

Jamie Tisch

Board of Directors

Jamie is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. In 2008, she co-founded Fashionology LA, a children’s clothing retail store in Los Angeles. In 2003, she co-founded the Entertainment Industry’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund. The Women’s Cancer Research Fund was created to support innovative research, education and outreach directed toward the early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of all women’s cancers.


Terri McCullough

Executive Director

Terri is the Executive Director of the Tory Burch Foundation and guides its strategy. Terri was previously Chief of Staff and advisor to Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Democratic Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives. She served in a variety of roles for more than 15 years in Rep. Pelosi’s Capitol Hill and San Francisco offices, with a focus on issues affecting women and families. Her experience also includes positions at NARAL Pro-Choice America, PENCIL (Public Education Needs Civic Involvement in Learning) and actress/playwright Anna Deavere Smith’s Institute on the Arts and Civic Dialogue at New York University. Terri serves on the Board of the Girls Leadership Institute. She is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz.

 


Ruthie Ackerman

Senior Program Manager

Ruthie is Senior Program Manager of the Tory Burch Foundation. She was previously a Senior Consultant at the JPMorgan Chase Foundation where she helped run Chase Community Giving and The American Giving Awards. Prior to that Ruthie spent six years as a journalist, most recently at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, writing about wealth management and philanthropy with a focus on women. She also lived in Malawi where she worked with women small business owners. Ruthie is an advisor to She’s the First and The Adventure Project and is a member of the investment committee at SparkNYC. She is a graduate of New York University.

 


Stephanie Alman

Executive Assistant

Stephanie is Executive Assistant to Terri and the Tory Burch Foundation. Most recently, she was assistant to Maryam Montague of Peacock Pavilions, a boutique hotel in Marrakech. She has also served as the Sustainability Strategist of Beacon Hill Academy in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, a nonprofit school educating young adults in professional and personal development, and the English language. Stephanie graduated from the University of Florida.
