The room stopped when human rights activist Yeonmi Park, who escaped from North Korea at the age of 13, took the stage. She told us, “I am so ambitious that I believe that I can shine the light in the darkest place on earth, North Korea.”

Filmmaker and Journalist Perri Peltz reminded us that, “We have to be willing to listen to things that make us uncomfortable.”
