Tory flipped the script with these United States Congressmen, astutely asking a question women are too often asked, “Who are you wearing?”



Handmaid’s Tale author Margaret Atwood told us that…

“I am often asked, ‘How long did it take you to write The Handmaid’s Tale?’ It may look like it only took me a year, but the real answer is 4,000 years because that’s how much of women’s history I was drawing on. That’s how many generations of storytellers stood behind me.”



Keegan-Michael Key made a surprise appearance and shared his thoughts on stereotypes in comedy!


Recognizing we are stronger, together! Actress and activist Yara Shahidi told Tory that, “We are dependent on one another and equity is something that is achieved only when we acknowledge everyone as having been unalienably given the right to exist and the right to thrive.

It was a gender revolution when Award-winning Journalist Katie Couric took the stage with Tory Burch.


“More depends on you embracing ambition than you know,” said Theo E.J. Wilson in his talk on how men have to play a part in advancing women’s equality.



The room stopped when human rights activist Yeonmi Park, who escaped from North Korea at the age of 13, took the stage. She told us, “I am so ambitious that I believe that I can shine the light in the darkest place on earth, North Korea.”



Refinery 29’s Co-founder, Piera Luisa Gelardi took the stage with Actress Julianna Margulies.



Filmmaker and Journalist Perri Peltz reminded us that, “We have to be willing to listen to things that make us uncomfortable.”
