Green Jobs Board is the climate tech platform built specifically to close the equity gap in green careers, not just another job listing site. We combine a smart hiring tool, a 200,000-strong job seeker community, and large-scale national events to connect ethical employers with talent, especially from communities historically shut out of the sustainability field.

We exist because breaking into environmental and social impact work is often about who you know, not what you know. By pairing technology with community and face-to-face connection, we're rebuilding that access from the ground up, for both the talent and the employers who need each other.

I'm Kristy Drutman, Co-Founder of Green Jobs Board, a climate tech start-up bridging the equity and inclusion gap within the green economy through conversations, resources, and pathways to bring more diverse talent into the environmental field. I started this work because I saw firsthand how many barriers stood between passionate, talented people and real careers in sustainability, and I wanted to build the infrastructure to fix that.

Before Green Jobs Board, I built Browngirl Green, a media platform where I work as a speaker, consultant, and environmental educator at the intersections of media, diversity, and environmentalism. As an entrepreneur and climate communications expert, I've educated hundreds of thousands of people across the globe through speeches and media content, and I facilitate workshops on environmental storytelling in cities across the US.

I was 1 of 16 members of the US EPA's National Environmental Youth Advisory Council, have reported from the White House multiple times, and have been featured in Forbes, Newsweek, The Guardian, TEDx, Teen Vogue, NY Times, and Refinery29, among others. I'm a Grist 50 under 50 recipient and a Create and Cultivate Top 100 creator.
