Abby began her career in sales working seven years with Fortune 500 clients, leading teams, and developing mentorship/culture programs. In 2020, she left her career to accomplish her goal of traveling the world before turning 30. While in New Zealand, she discovered real fruit ice cream in this adorable surf town, and knew she had found something special.

Three years later, after moving to Maui in a remote sales role, Abby was ready to leave the computer behind, get into the community, and be her own boss. Seeing this moment as her opportunity to open the ice cream shop she'd dreamt of for years, Abby launched Reef's Real Fruit Ice Cream in November of 2024, named after her sweet island pup Reef! The brand quickly gained traction and recently expanded to Portland, Maine, with a summer pop-up this June of 2026.
