LIKHA

Contemporary home, gift, and fashion pieces rooted in Filipino craft and natural materials.

About the Business

LIKHA is a design-led lifestyle brand creating contemporary home and fashion pieces handcrafted by artisan communities across the Philippines. We reimagine traditional techniques and natural materials for modern living, serving retail, hospitality, gifting, and brand partners.

LIKHA has grown into an internationally distributed brand carried by 800+ retailers across the U.S., Europe, Australia, Japan, and the Middle East, including Nordstrom and Anthropologie, and has been featured by The Today Show, Oprah Magazine, and Martha Stewart. We work with nearly 500 artisans across 26 communities. We exist to expand global market access for Filipino craftsmanship, creating sustainable livelihoods while proving that heritage craft can be beautifully designed, commercially relevant, and scalable.

Nathalie Llorente-Lim

I’m Nathalie Llorente-Lim, founder and CEO of LIKHA. I grew up in the Philippines surrounded by a rich tradition of craft, but also saw how difficult it could be for artisan communities to turn those skills into sustainable livelihoods. When I moved to the U.S., I saw the other side of the equation: a growing appetite for beautiful, meaningful products with a story behind them.

In 2018, I founded LIKHA to bring those two worlds together—reimagining Filipino craftsmanship for the global market. My background in business, finance, and international development, along with my experience living across three continents and four countries, has shaped how I think about business: as a way to connect culture, commerce, and impact.

My dream is to build LIKHA into a globally recognized lifestyle brand while creating more opportunities for the artisan communities at its heart. I’m a 2024 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow and Vital Voices Fellow, and I serve on the Miller Center for Global Impact Alumni Advisory Council.
