The Letter Nest is a brand of educational alphabet art by NYC-based artist Sally King McBride, which provides joy and beauty to children and their families by offering keepsake artwork for the nursery and home. Customers can select from over 20 phonetic alphabet themes—from Animals to Flowers, Boston to Paris—in a range of products: Name Prints, Stationery, Placemats, and more. “‘A’ is for an artful print they’ll cherish forever,” writes Goop; “My go-to baby gift,” adds our top customer (50 orders!). The Letter Nest has been featured in Vogue, House Beautiful, T&C, and in retail stores such as The Met Store and Beacon Hill Books. Sally King McBride is the Founder and Artist behind The Letter Nest, a brand of distinctive and educational alphabet art, which she founded in 2019 in New York City. Having worked for over a decade at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and with degrees in Art History from both Brown and Columbia, Sally applies a rich artistic vocabulary to her phonetic watercolor letters. She grew up as a faculty kid at the various schools where her mother worked; by result, education is at the heart of what she creates, and the connection of letter and image has been central to her painting practice for the past fifteen years. Sally is a 2021 Tory Burch Fellow, and a frequent collaborator with other women-owned businesses.
