Jenny Pfanenstiel is an internationally recognized Milliner, author, educator, and entrepreneur based in Louisville, KY. Her entrepreneurial journey began with a passion for preserving the centuries-old art of millinery. She built Formé Millinery by combining traditional techniques with modern design, transforming hats into wearable works of art. Jenny has since expanded her vision beyond a single brand. She now owns Formé Millinery, The Hat Shoppe, and Judith M Millinery Supply House one of America’s few remaining millinery supply houses. She is a 7x Featured Milliner of the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs’ first officially licensed product milliner. Her collaborations include Vineyard Vines, Keeneland, Woodford Reserve, and Swarovski. A 2019 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, 2024 Louisville Business First Enterprising Woman, and author of The Making of a Milliner, Jenny is passionate about mentoring entrepreneurs and preserving this rare craft. Her next chapter is The Hat Vault, a living millinery museum where visitors can explore millinery history and experience hat making firsthand.
