Workplayce
The office reimagined for parents: where work, child care, and community come together.
About the Business
A Workplayce, moms and dads can focus on their work, be near their babies and co-create a life for their family with the support of our community of caregivers. Parents get access via monthly memberships, can create a bespoke child care schedule that meets their work needs, attend events related to business, parenting and self care, and discover products and brands that support their choices for themselves and their children. We offer care for infants from 3 months old to preschool age children, and back up and after care for school age children. Parents can learn alongside their child, develop closer relationships with other caregivers, and save on commuting time. The convenience, care and community act as essential infrastructure to support today's working parents.
MICHELLE Chan
Michelle Chan is the founder and CEO of Workplayce, a family coworking childcare space with programming and community for working parents. After becoming a mother in the startup world working as an attorney, Michelle realized the working world was not designed for parents, so she created an alternative to the traditional office, tech campus and home office. Workplayce is every parent’s fever dream! Here parents can work uninterrupted, be in close proximity to their child, build community with other families, learn alongside their child, celebrate birthdays, milestones and everyday wins with like-minded people who get it. It's not just a work space or child care center, it's a support system for working families, with children and mothers at the center of everything we do. Because when care comes first, everyone benefits.
