Our team at Practice provides high-quality, direct to consumer and business-to-business mental health intervention, education, prevention, and early intervention services for children, teens, families, schools, and employers. Our goals include: 1) expanding access to traditional mental health services via a growing team of clinicians providing assessment, individual therapy, and skills groups for children, teens, and parents in the state of California via in-person physical locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles and through telehealth; and 2) building innovative, evidence-based mental health education and prevention programs delivered through schools and employers that reach families nationwide at earlier points in their mental health journeys and in the context of their daily lives.

Dr. Nina Kaiser is a licensed psychologist (CA 22555) with 20 years of experience in working with kids, teens, and parents across medical center, university, school, and mental health outpatient settings. In 2017, Dr. Kaiser founded Practice San Francisco, now the largest child and adolescent outpatient mental health company in the Bay Area and one of the 2026 Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies in the U.S. In addition to its Bay Area locations, Practice opened a new Los Angeles location in 2026. Dr. Kaiser holds a variety of advisory roles with organizations occupying the intersection of youth mental health and technology; she belongs to the Bay Area Council for Common Sense Media, the American Psychological Association Labs Digital Expert Network, and the AI Mental Health Collective, and serves as an advisor for Headstream, a youth digital behavioral health accelerator. She was named as a 2026 Inc. 500 Female Founder. Dr. Kaiser regularly speaks on national stages on topics related to child, adolescent, parent, and founder mental health, and has been featured as an expert source on child mental health and/or parenting in the New York Times, National Geographic, Real Simple, and Parents Magazine.
