About the Business

TINGE was born from a simple observation: the body category was being overlooked. While facial beauty boomed with innovation and high-quality ingredients, body products stayed stuck in the past, with limited shades, harsh formulas, and one-size-fits-none solutions. We set out to change that.

It started with our water- and transfer-resistant body makeup, designed for all skin tones. Since then, we've built a brand on one idea: why should thoughtful routines and ingredients stop at the neck up? We formulate for real skin, real lives, and real bodies, because skin concerns don't stop at your jawline, so your skincare shouldn't either.

Today, TINGE is reimagining what the body category can be: inclusive, intentional, and impossible to ignore.

Kourtney Leigh

Motivated by the belief that everyone deserves to feel good in the skin they're in, Kourtney Leigh founded TINGE, a body beauty brand redefining self-care beyond the face.

A former competitive dancer, Kourtney created TINGE after searching for buildable, water- and transfer-resistant makeup that felt truly comfortable. Now a working mom, her need is the same: skin that holds up through pool parties, gym sessions, and long working days. TINGE bridges the gap between stage and real life.

Her journey includes taking products from concept to commercialization and joining the 2% of female founders who have raised more than $1 million in venture funding. TINGE has been featured in People, Forbes, Byrdie, InStyle, UsWeekly, and Teen Vogue, and its body makeup is loved by everyday women, celebrities, and professional makeup artists alike.

Kourtney graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2016 with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing and serves on the Spears School of Business Board of Directors.
