Kim Roxie is the Founder and CEO of LAMIK Beauty, a clean, vegan color cosmetics brand founded on the belief that "Beauty is Revealed, Not Applied." Once kicked out of high school, Kim transformed from being labeled "at-risk" into a fearless risk-taker—a journey she shared on the TEDx stage. She went on to graduate from Clark Atlanta University and become a licensed esthetician and makeup artist. In her hometown of Houston, TX, she built and ran a thriving makeup and eyebrow studio for 14 years. After losing her mother to breast cancer and experiencing alopecia herself, Kim committed to addressing the health disparities multicultural women face in the beauty aisle.

In 2020, she launched LAMIK—an acronym for Love And Makeup In Kindness—into a direct-to-consumer, conscious-ingredient makeup company, starting with her first-of-its-kind Brow Duo Kit. A proud 2022 Tory Burch Fellow, Kim continues to scale her mission: empowering women who have been forgotten by the beauty industry with accessible makeup that celebrates health, wellness, and representation.
