Rechelle Balanzat is the founder and CEO of Juliette, a technology-enabled garment-care company modernizing laundry and dry cleaning. An immigrant from the Philippines raised in New York by a single mother, Rechelle built her career across finance, technology startups and creative agencies before launching Juliette in 2014. What began as a vision for a more convenient, elevated customer experience has grown into a portfolio of established New York garment-care brands supported by Juliette’s technology, logistics and customer-service platform. Rechelle is now developing AI-powered systems to automate and improve customer care, routing and operations while pursuing an acquisition-led strategy to consolidate New York City’s highly fragmented laundry and dry-cleaning market. She was selected as a Tory Burch Foundation Fellow in 2019 and has been recognized by American Drycleaner and featured in Vogue, Inc., NBC, Martha Stewart, InStyle, GQ and Real Simple. Her mission is to build the defining garment-care company for modern urban life.
