I’m Stephanie Summerson Hall, founder of Estelle Colored Glass. My entrepreneurial journey began after nearly a decade practicing business and corporate tax law, when I decided to leave my legal career and pursue entrepreneurship full time. After launching businesses in the wedding and event industry, I found myself drawn to an idea that had been quietly developing for years—creating modern colored glassware inspired by my grandmother, Estelle, or “Big Mama.” Growing up, her home was a place of warmth, beautiful meals, and gatherings around a table filled with her collection of colorful vintage glassware. When I couldn’t find modern pieces that captured that same beauty and personality, I decided to create them myself. After years of research, design, and sampling, I partnered with a glassmaker in Poland with more than 100 years of history and brought Estelle Colored Glass to life. What began as a deeply personal idea has grown into a brand rooted in color, craftsmanship, joy, and the belief that beautiful pieces can become part of a family’s story for generations.
