Storybeat Studio helps scholars, authors, and purpose-driven organizations shape compelling narratives, elevate their leadership voices, and secure public visibility.

Lisa Weiss
Lisa Weiss is the founder of the storytelling studio Storybeat Studio, helping authors, scientists, and scholars find larger audiences for their work. I'm also the creator of Object Diaries: Stories About Human Connection Told One Secret Object at a Time.
Before founding Storybeat, I spent years as a producer for Oprah and CBS News. I earned three Emmy Awards® doing work that required reading an expert’s body of work to uncover questions that had never been asked, or digging until I surfaced a detail that unlocked an untold story. I have an MFA in Prose and Poetry from Northwestern. I created Object Diaries, a methodology for creating narrative through objects, which I teach in workshops and use with clients.
