Spouse-ly is an online marketplace making it easy to shop small and support military and first responder families. Often described as “Etsy meets Angie’s List,” the platform brings together thousands of products and services from military spouses, veterans, service members, and first responders.

A life of service often comes with constant change, from military moves and deployments to demanding schedules and new chapters. Spouse-ly creates a place for our community to turn their talents and passions into flexible opportunities and meaningful creative outlets that can grow with them wherever life takes them, while connecting consumers with an easy way to purchase with purpose.

I’m Monica Fullerton, Founder & CEO of Spouse-ly, military spouse, twin mom, and a firm believer in the power of community. My entrepreneurial journey was born from my own experience navigating a career alongside military life. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism & Communications and an MBA in Marketing, I quickly realized how difficult it could be to maintain a traditional career while moving wherever the military sent our family.

Instead of waiting for a solution, I decided to build one. In 2020, I launched Spouse-ly, an online multi-vendor marketplace making it easier for consumers to discover and support military and first responder-owned businesses. What began as an idea on the way to dinner with some fellow milspouses has grown into a nationwide community of entrepreneurs, built bootstrapped and through the power of people who believe in the mission.

Today, I continue to build businesses, communities, and opportunities that bring people together. Whether I’m growing Spouse-ly, helping fellow founders turn big ideas into action, or building new ways to support military-connected entrepreneurs, my mission remains the same: create what’s missing, open more doors, and bring others along for the journey.
