Portia spent much of her career as an entrepreneur, from building a real estate portfolio in her twenties to co-founding a biodiesel startup, before discovering the work that would become Elev8 Coaching. Drawing on her entrepreneurial experience and background in human development, she founded Elev8 to help high-achieving leaders become more effective, self-aware leaders and build organizations where both people and performance thrive.

What began as Portia's executive coaching practice has grown into a leadership development firm serving executives and organizations through one-on-one coaching, team development, and leadership programs. Today, Elev8 works with leaders across industries including banking, law, and professional services, often becoming a long-term partner through periods of growth, succession, and organizational change.

After building a thriving practice and reaching her own coaching capacity, Portia is now focused on Elev8's next chapter: expanding the firm's team of coaches, growing its corporate partnerships, and building a company whose reach and impact extend well beyond its founder.
