That moment, and the years of navigating hair loss that led to it, became the foundation for Silk or Lace, (www.silkorlace.com) which I launched in 2020 as a first-time, bootstrapped entrepreneur. My goal was simple: make it easier for women with hair loss to find high-quality, realistic wigs and toppers without the overwhelm, shame, or guesswork I had experienced myself.
