About the Business
The Juggernaut is a Y Combinator- and Precursor Ventures-backed media tech company and community that publishes deeply reported stories on global South Asians. We welcome all readers curious about our stories.
We publish one new story a weekday and have now published well over 1,200 features, covering everything from culture and business to tech and profiles. Our goal is to celebrate our heritage but also challenge what history books have gotten wrong.
We are thoughtful in everything we do — such as co-creating fonts by South Asians — and have been featured in TechCrunch, Axios, Forbes, CNBC, Harvard Business School, and Yale.
Snigdha Sur
I’m the founder & CEO of The Juggernaut, a Y Combinator and Precursor Ventures-backed media platform and community telling smart South Asian stories. We reach over 60 million people a month, have over 743,000 followers on Instagram, and have interviewed everyone from London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman to Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt and directors Mira Nair and Zoya Akhtar.
I’ve worked at McKinsey New York, in Bollywood, and in launch strategy for Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine. I graduated from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar with an MBA and magna cum laude from Yale College with a double major in Economics and South Asian Studies. I’m fluent in Hindi and Bengali and also am conversant in Mandarin.
